Certificates and standards
Everything we say and claim about sustainability and CSR, has to be valid and legimate. That's why we believe it's very important to get certified by external, independent authorities. For some topics, we're certified as a company, though you'll also find individual products being certified with quality marks such as FSC, GOTS or Fairtrade. This is always shown on the product page.
CSR
Every year Greengiving is audited by Keurmerk Nederland for complying with CSR standards. In 2019, 2020 and 2021 we received the CSR-certificate.
Fairtrade
Greengiving is Fairtrade certified for the section 'cotton'. A number of cotton bags from our collection come with a Fairtrade label and a special Greengiving label, so we can monitor the original location of the bag. The Fairtrade audit and certification is done by FLOCERT, which is a worldwide independent certifiying organisation for Fairtrade.

Dopper
Greengiving is one of the six official Dopper Resellers for the B2B-market. We also joined the Dopper Wave and by signing that document we pledged to not use single-use water bottles.
FSC
Lots of our wooden gifts are FSC-certified. The FSC (Forest Stewartship Council) certification confirms that the forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability.
The FSC-label can be found on the product pages concerned.
GOTS
In our collection with sustainable clothing you will find lots of GOTS-certified products. GOTS is short for Global Organic Textile Standard, and it's the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. In many cases, the ink that is used for printing is also GOTS certified.
The GOTS-label can be found on the product pages concerned.
