What is seed paper?
It's already in the name. Seed paper consists of two thin paper layers with seeds in between. After the paper has been used, it can be put into the soil and after a while, beautiful flowers will start growing. The growing paper can be printed with your logo, text or customised design. You can also order unprinted seed paper, in volumes from 25 and up. According to us, seed paper is unique, sustainable and a great way to bring your message!
How does seed paper work?
Everyone can use it and make it work. That's the great thing about seed paper. Put it into the soil, moisturize and wait for the seeds to start growing. This sounds simple, but you're probably wondering how to get the best result. Check out this blog and you will read everything you need to know!
Endless possibilities with plantable paper
Plantable paper is available in two thicknesses: 120gsm and the more sturdy version of 200gsm. The advantage of the thinner paper is the fact that seeds germinate quickly. On the other hand though, there's a slight risk of folding and tearing. The 200gsm paper is perfectly suitable for cards and bags. It can be printed on both sides. This paper is handmade, so the amount of seeds can vary per sheet.
Branded seed paper special shapes
In addition to the standard sizes, we also offer special sizes. We can cut any shape you want, thanks to a custom-made cutting knife. With seed paper in a special shape, you will leave behind a lasting impression. The special shapes can of course be printed with your logo, text or customised design. The growing paper can be printed in full colour, but it's not possible to print full blocks of colour, because stripes can then form. After you've ordered, you will receive a free digital printing proof, on which you can see how the seed paper will be printed. We will not start printing until you've approved the digital proof.
