Plantable seed paper
It's already in the name. Seed paper consists of two thin paper layers with seeds in between. After the paper has been used, it can be put into the soil and after a while, beautiful flowers start growing. The plantable paper can be printed with your logo, text or customised design. Growing paper sizes and shapes
Growing paper is available in sizes A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 and DIN-long. Apart from these regular sizes, the seed paper can also be supplied in any customised shape. Seed paper 120 gsm and 200 gsm
Plantable paper is available in two types: 120 gsm en the more sturdy version of 200 gsm. Both types are perfectly suitable for cards and flyers. It can be printed on both sides. The 120 gsm paper consists of two thin layers of paper with seeds of flowers or herbs in between, and the 200 gsm paper is handmade with the seeds already in it. Because this paper is handmade, the thickness may differ slightly. Both types of seed paper are available in various sizes and shapes. You can also choose between different seeds.
Seed paper printing
The seed paper cards are very popular as promotional item. You can convey your message in a green way and you surprise people with a very original card. Plantable cards are highly suitable for marketing campaigns and events. All seed paper items can be full colour customised with your own design.

The seed paper contains seeds for summer flowers by default. In most cases, you can also opt for other seeds, such as cress, thyme, carrot, lettuce, daisy, poppy and forget-me-not. Order printed seed paper
You can easily place an order online on our website. Of course you can also request a quote first. Before we start printing or engraving your seed paper sheets, you will always receive a digital proof containing the product and the position of your logo or text. The printing process is only started after your approval of the visual.

What is seed paper?
Seed paper (also: growing paper) consists of two layers of paper, with seeds in between. The paper can be put into the soil, and with proper care, the seeds will germinate after a while. In what format should I supply my seed paper artwork?
- Please upload your design in one of the following file types: .AI, .EPS, .PDF, JP(E)G of PNG. Make sure that the file matches with the paper size and the sizes of the printing area.
- Do not supply a design with full blocks of ink coverage, such as pictures and photos that cover a large part of the printing area. This can result in stripes when printing. We can print maximum 30% of the seed paper.
- Looking for full bleed printing? This is only available with the sizes A4, A5 and A6 of the 200 gsm seed paper. For other sizes, make sure you save a blank space from at least 3 mm from the edges.
Can seed paper be printed full bleed?
Yes, this is available with the A4, A5 and A6 sized of the 200 gsm seed paper. Choose 'Full bleed printing' under Accessories.
Can I use my own design?
Yes, absolutely! The pictures on the product pages are just examples. You can create your own design and send it to us by email or upload in on the website.
Could you make a design for me?
Yes, that's no problem. Submit your preferences and our specialist will make a design for your seed paper product.
Can I upload a full design instead of just a logo?
Yes, that's no problem. At the product page you will find the sizes of the printing area. Make sure your design doesn't exceed these sizes. Consider possible folds, for example with a folded card.
Can I opt for an express delivery?
Yes, that's almost always an option when it comes to seed paper. Please get in touch about the options.
Can I supply multiple designs for one order?
Yes, that's possible. We charge €25,- per design.
Do you print user guidelines on the seed paper?
Which seed paper and seed type should I choose?
That depends on the season and what the seed paper is being used for. Check out our seed calender, and you will find everything about the paper thickness and when to plant/sow seed paper.
Can you send seed paper as a mailing?
Yes, we can take care of that. We print the seed paper according the approved printing proof, put it in envelopes and send it to individual addresses.
How is seed paper printed?

Can I print seed paper myself?
It is possible, but we advise against it. Most printers have a risk of getting damaged during printing. You might try it with an inkjet printer, but we cannot guarantee a perfect result.
