Decarbonising our business
We always evaluate our processes and look for ways to make them more sustainable. An important part of this eco-minded entrepreneurship is our greenhouse gas footprint. To minimise the gas emissions, we focus on reuse, recycle and reduce. For the operations where we're not able to reduce (at this moment), we'll compensate.
We reuse cardboard boxes as much as we can
We transform old cardboard boxes into filling material
We don't use single-use bottles and cups
Ink cartridges are collected for recycling
We minimise our email flows and data storage
We minimise transport by keeping our own stock and making smart purchasing choices
We reduce the commuting emissions by electric driving and biking
We choose logistic partners that make an effort of climate neutral transport (DHL Go Green)
When purchasing office supplies, we aim for sustainable options
CO2-compensation through Trees for All
While we do everything we can to reduce our carbon footprint, some aspects—like commuting—are harder to tackle. That’s why we compensate these emissions through Trees for All, supporting certified reforestation projects.
We calculate our emissions using the Milieubarometer tool, which provides insight into the emissions per business area. In the coming years, we’ll continue to use this tool to monitor our footprint and take measures where possible to reduce emissions further.
In 2024 our total emissions amounted to 21.4 tonnes. We fully offset this through Trees for All.
Our website emissions are compensated through the initiative 'CO2-neutral website'.
