The GOTS label is an international label for organic textiles. The GOTS label guarantees that the production of organic textiles is done in an eco-friendly and socially responsible manner. Furthermore, there are quality requirements for the products. For example, the label guarantees that at least 70% (and often more) of the textile fibers originate from organic agriculture. In addition, checks are made on the use of harmful substances during the production and processing of the textile fibers. Textile processing companies must also provide proper working conditions.
