The story of Correctbook

In 2014 during his holiday in South-Africa, founder Sam noticed that lots of children didn't have access to basic writing materials, such as pen and paper. And how can you learn to write if you've got nothing to write on? In response to this experiece, Sam decided to develop Correctbook: an erasable notebook that can be used endlessly, both in Europe as well as in developing countries.

The mission of Correctbook

When buying a Correctbook, 1 child in Africa is provided with writing materials for three months. The goal is to have 1 million kids provided with writing materials by the end of 2023. In July 2021, the 500,000 milestone was reached. Do you help reach the other 500,000? And fight illiteracy?

Correctbook in Africa

The erasable Correctbooks are donated through organisations in South-Africa and Rwanda. Thanks to the "Teaching with Impact" project with Edukans and Blue Tree Group, the distribution area of Correctbook expanded to Ethiopia, Malawi, Kenya, Uganda and Ghana. In March 2021 they launched Correctbook in Ghana, then Malawi and in May 49,000 Correctbooks were send to 20 primary school schools. Correctbook also set up production sites in these countries.
