The mission of BE O Lifestyle

We all want to make a positive climate impact, but at BE O Lifestyle they actually do it. How? By producing and selling products that are not just climate-neutral, but even climate-positive. And for every bottle a tree is planted. This way, it's is possible to fight climate change with daily-used items like water bottles.

Sugar cane is cultivated in Brazil. The fast-growing plant needs a little bit of rainwater and lots of sun. When harvested, the plant is grinded into sugar. That process leaves sugar juice and molasses. These waste flows are transformed into bio-ehtanol. The moist is extracted, which results in bio-polyethyleen. These grains are shipped to a factory in the Netherlands, where all BE O bottle parts are made.

The life cycle analysis of the BEO O bottle shows that during production more CO2 is absorbed than emitted, which means a postive impact on climate.

For all parts in the production process, the CO2 emission is calculated. The BE O bottle emits -0.0796kg CO2 per bottle, which is a negative number. That means that each bottle absorbs approx. 80 gram CO2.

That's not all of it. For every bottle sold a tree is planted, in cooperation with Trees for the Future. This means even more positive impact.
